Karina Bond unveiled her Spring/Summer 2026 collection, "The Midnight Sun," at London Fashion Week on September 19, 2025. Set against the ornate stonework of the Vestibules at Freemasons' Hall, the event created a striking atmosphere that echoed the collection's theme of dream-inspired design. The presentation featured 21 looks in ready-to-wear and couture, blending innovative techniques with a sense of otherworldly elegance.
The collection highlights Bond's focus on handcrafted pieces made from biocompatible, biodegradable TPU and PLA filaments, drawn with a 3D pen to achieve zero-waste garments. These designs evoke a futuristic second skin, merging sculpture with wearable forms.
“I want to be one of the first designers to create fully wearable 3D printed clothing so that when you go into the store andthere’s no stock, you just go in, get 3D scanned, pick the outfit and it's printed to perfectly fit your body.” – Karina Bond.
The standout "Desert Rose" dress, the show's finale, comprises over 5,000 individually drawn discs inspired by desert crystals, building on last season's 3D textiles that mimicked fabric. Bond notes, "It's a design that would have been impossible to imagine in the past, that no fabric could replicate."
This season also marked Bond's debut in accessories, with self-assembled 3D-printed handbags featuring sensory embellishments, planned as collectible seasonal drops. A jewelry collaboration with Vicki Sarge introduced 3D-printed stones and intricate metalwork, with select pieces set for a commercial launch at a Kensington boutique later this month.
The production involved a skilled team: styling by Borna Prikaski, hair led by Efi Davies of TONI&GUY, makeup by Seoulista Beauty and By Terry teams under Lan Nguyen-Grealis, nails by Giulia Oldani's team, shoes by Natacha Marro, tights by FALKE, and millinery by Virna Pasquinelli and Genevieve La Valle. AV support came from Kieron Garlic at Present Communications, production from Vikki Burns at Go2Show, and PR from Cellar Communications.
